Lea Fernengel ist Studentin der Ethnologie und der Islamwissenschaften (B.A.). Sie arbeitet als studentische Hilfskraft für Dr. Simone Pfeifer und unterstützt diese bei ihrem Forschungsprojekt zum muslimischen Alltag und zu digitalen Medienpraktiken in Deutschland. Zuvor war sie als studentische Hilfskraft am Institut für Ethnologie als Tutorin tätig. Außerdem hat sie Lektorentätigkeiten für eine ethnologische Fachliteratur übernommen. Frau Fernengel lernte im Rahmen eines dreimonatigen Praktikums bei DOMID e.V. die archivale Arbeit kennen. Dies beinhaltete das Inventarisieren eines Bestandes, wie auch die Auseinandersetzung mit ethnografischen Medien mit Themenschwerpunkt „Migration nach Deutschland“.
Lea Fernengel is a student of anthropology and Islamic studies (B.A.). She works as a student assistant for Dr. Simone Pfeifer and supports her research on Muslim everyday life and digital media practices in Germany. Previously, she worked as a student assistant at the Department of social and cultural anthropology as a tutor. She has also done editing work for an ethnological literature. Mrs. Fernengel spent three months learning about archival work during an internship at DOMID. This included the inventorying of a collection as well as the examination of ethnographic media with a thematic focus on “migration to Germany”.
